About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Government & Public Sector (GOV) Business Consulting team in New Delhi, India. The role focuses on transformation delivery, particularly within the education sector, supporting government organizations in strategic planning, operational improvement, and large-scale transformation programs. The successful candidate will contribute to education-sector consulting engagements, research and analytical assignments, program execution, stakeholder coordination, and the preparation of client presentations. The role requires an understanding of India's National Education Policy (NEP) and its implications for education strategy, implementation planning, and organizational change. The position is part of EY Consulting's Performance Improvement and Transformation Delivery practice, which helps public-sector clients improve service delivery, organizational effectiveness, and long-term outcomes.

What you bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (B.Tech.). - Minimum 6 years of project management experience. - Demonstrated experience in consulting engagements focused on transformation delivery. - Understanding of the education sector, including policy, operations, and stakeholder-driven initiatives. - Working knowledge of India's National Education Policy (NEP). - Experience in analytical research, insight development, and business presentation preparation. - Ability to support program execution, documentation, and coordination across multiple workstreams. - Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities. - Ability to work within commercial, legal, and client-service requirements.
